Writing etc. is run by Ellen
Tomaszewski, who has been a spiritual director for 20 years with the
Tri-Cities
Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) in
Washington State. For the past ten years, Ellen been director of SEEL in
the Tri-Cities. Mrs. Tomaszewski holds a certificate from
Mercy
Center, Burlingame, CA. in the Art of Supervision (2000), and
has attended every summer institute held by the Oregon Province of
the Jesuits.
Ellen is a member of the Spiritual
Formation Commission of the Oregon Province of the Jesuits,
and their representative to the Oregon Province Ministry Council. She has had several articles published in magazines and newspapers,
including the Liguorian,
Christian
Communicator, Central
Washington Catholic, and the Tri-City Herald. She writes for the religious column of her
local paper. Her most recent book, My Blindy Girl - A mother's Quest,
which will be released July 1, 2008.
For three years, Ellen served on the
governing board for Tri-Cities Prep
(TCP) a Catholic high school (TCP) in Pasco, WA, and was the chairman of the Spirituality
Committee. She currently serves as a member of the TCP Spiritual Identity Committee.

Spirituality Conference
Ms. Tomaszewski will present a workshop on Group
Supervision at the 2008 Ignatian Spirituality Conference in
St. Louis University . The conference will be held from July
24-27, 2008
Ellen, along with Bev Austin from Spokane SEEL and Mary Ann Bigelow
from Missoula, presented a workshop at the Ignatian Spirituality
Conference at St. Louis University on July 28-31, 2005 in St.
Louis, Missouri, on how to begin the Exercises in smaller
communities. |
